• Registration for the 2010-2011 school year is now open. Please register your child as soon as possible, seats are filling up!
• Our second annual Poem in Your Pocket Day took place on Tuesday April 20. Every child had the chance to write their own collection of poems and share one with their classmates, teachers and special guests.
• Many thanks to the Endowment for Inner-City Education and an anonymous Patron for providing St. Joseph School with a grant to repair its stairwells. The construction will be completed over the summer.
• Congratulations to two 8th grade girls at St. Joseph School, Niame and D'Nea, who will be attending high school at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, CT. This has been made possible by a generous anonymous donor.
• Many thanks to the Charles Hayden Foundation! St. Joseph received a grant to continue our literacy program with the Cooke Center for Learning and Development.
• The 6th, 7th and 8th graders had a wonderful time at their Valentine's Day Dance on Friday February 5th!
• Many thanks to Joe Cassin who sponsored a trip to Radio City for Ms. Bonet and Ms. Leon's 6th grade classes. All of the students had the wonderful opportunity to see the Christmas Spectacular!
• Welcome to St. Joseph's new Pastor - Father Salvatore Sportino.
• St. Joseph School's seventh annual benefit was a huge success raising over $60,000 for the school's Music and Extended Day Programs!
